The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point designed for intervention experiences a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all here people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods here to allow the servicing of all shoppers and improve usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
